Alp is a sophomore at Cornell University studying Electrical & Computer Engineering and Physics. He has extensive tutoring experience in STEM subjects, with a focus on SAT/ACT preparation, advanced mathematics, and physics. In addition to test prep, Alp is the lead college consultant at Hermes Tutoring and has guided over a dozen students through their essays, applications, and admissions process, helping them gain acceptance to their dream schools. Drawing on his own top 1% SAT score and strong academic background, he teaches in a way that emphasizes building confidence and true understanding, empowering students to present their best selves academically and personally.

Ben is a sophomore at Cornell University studying Computer Science with extensive tutoring experience in the SAT, ACT, Computer Science, and K-12 Math and English. As the lead standardized testing tutor and a 1570 SAT scorer himself, he has led many students to score improvements of 300-500 points. In high school, he led a nonprofit mentoring program and from this he understands the impact of personalized educational support. Reciprocating the guidance he once received, Ben tailors his teaching to each student, helping them master content, manage time effectively, and build exam strategies. His goal, like that of Hermes Tutoring, is to guide students toward confidence and success in standardized testing.
